What can you expect?
Firstly, we are passionate about developing the Redoubt Garden and Pavilion cafe as a singular project. Modernising the café and restoring the gardens, creating a destination space east of the pier. The café and gardens work symbiotically, a working gem in the heart of the community, supporting events, community groups, providing a place to meet, and culture for all.

The Ticket Booth
Our first project will be turning the lovely Victorian booth in the Redoubt Gardens into a rejuvenated community food and drink hub. We look forward to welcoming you to the Ticket Booth this Spring, join us to relax in our beautiful gardens, take in our seafront views and be part of the development of this wonderful space.

Food For Thought
Glass House will be the very best Eastbourne has to offer while remaining accessible to the community. It will showcase local produce and culture whilst allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the spectacular views of Eastbourne seafront, east of the pier.

The food will be freshly cooked to order, modern British with a strong offer of locally caught seafood. We will operate a 25 mile menu using local suppliers from Eastbourne and Sussex. Our priority is to serve high quality local produce, which makes every visit special. With an innovative cocktail list, free trade coffee, fresh organic fruit juices and a conscientious wine list, there will be something for everyone.

Is There an Eco in here?
We will achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. We will work with local companies such as Gradient Consultants to introduce sustainable energy plans. In addition to sustainable construction we have an array of proposals and ideas we plan to implement to reduce our carbon footprint. Keep an eye on this space as we progress, as we have so much we are eager to discuss with you all.

Special Thanks
Lastly, we would love to say an incredible thank you to everyone involved in this project so far, and express how excited we are to work with our future collaborators.
